Contemporary uniform half cloth over marbled boards. = The original thesis of the French palaeontologist Madeleine Neumann-Texier (1921-1998). Defended at the Sorbonne, on 31 May 1957. Among the members of the exam commission was the famous French palaeontologist Jean Cuvillier. Original theses, like this one, were published in very small numbers. The following year (1958) it was published in the Mémoires of the French Geological Society. An excellent, clean copy.
