The work deals with Permian and Triassic formations in the Alpine region of sotheastern France. This is the thesis of the French geologist François Ellenberger (1915-2000). Many plates show molluscs (good drawings, some photos), mainly gastropods and bivalves. There is also a large suite of photographic mountain views. A very good, clean and unmarked copy.
