New York, Brown & Wilson, Printers, 1892. First edition. Stitched paper wrappers. 48 pp. [1]. 8vo. Vida Scudder, "recently returned from study with John Ruskin at Oxford and newly appointed to the faculty of Wellesley, was apparently the moving force in the group whose primary motivation seemed to be to break the restrictive bonds of gender and class.
