London, 1938 125pp, 31pp, 18pp, 16pp, 56pp 28x22, soft cloth covered binder with firm's glt crest and lettering, card bound catalogues inside with treasury tags through neatly punched files Binder rubbed with loss on edges of spine, corners bumped with some creasing, card bit grubby, contents generally good although edges are a bit bumped. Huge selection of domestic items, fittings, etc. Nettlefold's began as a hardware shop in High Holborn in the 1820s, before expanding into manufacturing. Between 1854 and 1874 Nettleford and his sons formed a highly successful partnership with his brother-in-law Joseph Chamberlain of Birmingham and his son, also called Joseph. Joseph junior went on to become of the greatest and most influential politicians of the late Victorian and Edwardian era.
