Each plan accompanied on the facing page by a reference key to buildings, fields and plots identified by name and extent. Loosely inserted are a further three manuscript maps: 1. The Bengeworth Estate belonging to Miss Porter. nd. 660 x 480 mm. Mounted on linen, a little frayed along the edges. 2. Olney Farm in the Parish of Felstead in the County of Essex, the property of the Misses Porter. 1843. 540 x 380 mm. 3. Plan of Street Farm, Aldham, Essex. Surveyed by J.S. Sorridoe & Son. nd. 380 x 500 mm. On thick tissue. Also inserted, a manuscript coat of arms of the Porter family. Full red contemporary sheep, rather rubbed but sound.
