Very nice copy of this initial survey of the county's agriculture. This slim volume was given out free to landowners and others with an interest, with a request for copies to returned with comments written in the margins so that a more detailed survey could be prepared. Given that Malcolm produced a huge three volume study ten years later, one can only assume that a lot of copies of this were returned, with substantial margin notes.
