Green cloth binding with gilt lettering decorations on the spine and front cover of the book. The text pages generally clean and bright. There is some light generalized toning to the pages and spots of foxing throughout. "Frank Moore (1828–1904) was an American journalist and compiler, a brother of George Henry Moore. He was born in Concord, New Hampshire, but removed to New York City and became a journalist and general writer. In 1869-72 he was Assistant Secretary of Legation in Paris." (From Wikipedia).
