TROOSTWYK David - Imitation

London, David Troostwyk and the Felicity Samuel Gallery 1977 c100pp (unpaginated), text in alternate pages of red and black. 28x21, card wraps. Small damp mark on spine and back cover, not affecting pages, neatly written dedication on title page (in two colours as the book), very good thus. A work that displays both Troostwyk's early experience of advertising design, and his understated minimalism. Each page of red text copies the facing black text page, which repeats a gradually evolving version of the words "My Imitation of You". A classic of design and conceptualism.
