With signed letter pasted on French title, dated "Paris le 31 decembre 1954"; also pasted on the opposite of the French titlepage the envelope with stamp, dated 1-1-1955, addressed to Monsieur Jean Zannet(t)acci, Cherchell, Algérie. Added another envelope with stamp, dated 31 XII 55, addressed to Monsieur Jean Zanetacci (!); Commune mixte de Cherchell; Algérie, containg a folding card with printing: "Service d'études aéroporté". Pasted on the card an original photograph of parachutes; inside signed thanks by the author to the same recipient. Dustwrappoer damaged along sides; otherwise a good copy. André Allemand, born December 12, 1927 in Pau, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques and died August 8, 2018 in Arès1, is a former french military paratrooper and diplomat, later he was a writer of detective novels.
