Laid in is a closely written one-page letter penned on a sheet of American Institute of the History of Pharmacy letterhead and signed "George Urdang". The letter, addressed to Dr. George, encloses this copy of the pamphlet and also refers to having previously sent him a copy of Urdang's catalog of "Squibb's Ancient Pharmacy".
