London: Printed For J. Johnson, In St. Paul's Church-Yard, 1806 . 0. 2 volumes. 8vo. 16.5cm x 10.5cm x 2.9cm. Very good original full leather bindings. Polished speckled calf. Smooth spines with gilt banding, black leather title labels: "Cowper's Poems." and small red leather circular volume numbers. Hinges and corners carefully strengthened. Each volume with previous owners signature (in a contemporary hand) to front free-endpaper: "Joseph Albright 1808 ". A few blemishes, or small tears, but overall a very clean set. Vol. I. pp.10/[2pp.]/368 . With preface signed by "John Newton. Charles Square, Hoxton, February 18, 1782." Vol. II. : pp.4/[2pp.]/pp.363 .

Return of goods
