New York, Ariel Press 1956 48pp 25x19, stapled, illustrated wraps. Slightly browned covers near the spine, otherwise very good for slightly fragile item. First issue of the second of Tambimuttu's influential periodicals (the other was Poetry London); this issue has works by Campbell, Read, Auden among others. The cover illustration by Alexander Calder is striking; Tambimuttu used the Lyrebird as the name of a later publishing venture.
