CLEW Kenneth R - The Kennet and Avon Canal

David and Charles, Newton Abbot 1968 206pp, 30 plates, 20 illustrations 23x15, grey-green cloth in illustrated dw, now protected. Very good in slightly chipped and rubbed dw. Early book in the publishers' Inland Waterways Histories series. The Kennet and Avon was one of the focuses of the early preservation movement, and was eventually re-opened in its entirety in 1990 after many years of work by volunteers.
