Agrell published this work as a supplement to Edmund Castell's "Lexicon Syriacum", second edition edited by Michaelis, Göttingen 1788. It was later incorporated in the "Thesaurus Syriacus", edited by R. Payne, Oxford 1868-1901. Agrell (1764-1840) was professor in Oriental languages at Upsala 1790-91.
