Maeght - Chagall Derriere le Miroir (No. 112/150 Printed Editions) in Original Slipcase

Paris, Maeght, 1969. First Limited Edition of a modernist magazine presenting the cutting edge Chagall's Art of its time. This is numbered, 112/150, 32 pp plus 2 copies of the double sided lithograph in folio format, 11” x 15” (28 x 38 cm). Printed on Rives untrimmed vellum by Mourlot and loosely housed in hard flat green cover and slip case. This number contains 30 works by Marc Chagall including gouache and oil reproductions in colour and black and white mostly from the late 1960’s exploring Chagall’s world of magic realism. French text by Claude Esteban and a dedicatory poem by Andre Frenaud. There is some minor splitting on the top of the slip case, otherwise a sharp copy of this limited issue, very good condition. .
