Very good copy, in Madelon Vriesendorp's striking pictorial dust wrapper (this a trifle edge-rubbed, but complete and now glassine protected). First edition, English version, of this famous work: Koolhaas' polemical investigation of Manhattan as "a mystical laboratory for the invention and testing of a revolutionary lifestyle...". This version of the first edition is from the original American sheets (unlike the slightly later Academy UK edition itself).
