The third volume in the series Historical Treasures of China which aims to provide historians and scholars with a sampling of the documents held in the many Provincial Archives across Chin. Hebei Province is in the northern section of the lower reaches of the Yellow River. The Hebei Archives house more than 500,000 documents ranging from the Qing Dynasty to the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
