TEG. xii, 354 pp (including Index). 29 page publisher catalogue, dated February 1885, bound-in at rear. Illustrated with 88 inserted plates. 8vo. 9-1/8" x 5-3/4". Spine ever so slightly faded. Front board with a minute bit of spotting to top left. A VG+ copy. On a few of the plates, under the image, a prior owner has neatly named some of the characters depicted therein, e.g. In "Faro's Daughters", which shows 2 ladies in the stocks, the woman on the left is identified as Lady Archer.
