Neate M137 ‘Moore made extensive Alpine tours in the years 1860-81 including this one with Whymper and Horace Walker in 1864. The Alpine Club hold his later unpublished diaries, parts of which were incorporated into the 1902 edition, including his account of the first ascent of the famous Brenva ice-ridge on Mont Blanc.
