Gold, 103, Shoe-lane, Fleet-street, 1809. 1st edition thus (cf. Pearl 68n). There were two editions of the pamphlet issued in London; the other by T. Gillet. This edition not in Gaines. According to Pearl, REFORM was "one of the many hostile publications issued by Cobbett's enemies giving extracts from his earlier anti-Reform writings." Cobbett's rebuttal was spirited, as was his wont, with his vociferous demand for Parliamentary Reform eventually landing him in Newgate (1810 - 1812). This the scarcer edition of the two from 1809.
