In addition to four volumes, there are three newspaper articles: One article from the NYTimes is a two-column article by Orville Prescott dated Oct 1948; the other is a full page and several columns on a separate page from The New York Times Book Review dated Oct 1948 by Allan Nevins; the third is a 3/4 page article from the New York Herald Tribune Book Review dated Oct 1951, review by Dumas Malone. Each article is illustrated. The set consists of 4 volumes with two slipcases. Volumes One and Two: Young Washington; Vol Three: Planter and Patriot; Volume Four Leader of The Revolution. Dark blue decorated cloth, gilt title on the spines, mapped endpapers in each volume. Vol. 1 and 2, publication date, 1948 - vol 2 has two round discoloration marks on the outer boards; Vol 3 pub date 1951; Vol 4 pub date 1951, front hinge slightly cracked. Each has Scribner's A and Scribner's colophon on the copyright pages. Each volume illustrated with reproductions of original documents, portraits, maps and plans. G .

Media Mail USPS $4.00 first book, only $0.50 (50 cents) for each additional book on the same order. We ship book by 1st Class Mail when the weight of the book is 6 oz or less.
Priority Mail USPS $5.50 per book. Flat rate Priority Mail is also available. If a book is heavy or oversized we will provide a shipping quote by email.

International
The U.S. Post Office eliminated shipping by surface mail. We will provide rates upon request based on order destination and weight. We offer economic shipping prices as per US Postal Service rates

Notification of return must be made within 5 days of receipt of order. We will refund postage only if the error was ours. Please contact us before returning any item. Your refund will be processed upon arrival of the returned item.
