Ashford: Henry Igglesden, 1871, 1874. First edition, complete in two volumes bound in three. 8vo, xvi, 462pp; xii, 935pp. 6 folding maps. Original green cloth, gilt titling to the spines, gilt design to the front boards. Boards rubbed, inner hinges strengthened with cloth tape, foxing to the endpapers and the maps, tape repair to one of the maps. Overall, this set is in good plus condition. Author's presentation copies, with a short inscription from the author in each volume.
