No inscriptions. 4 square corners. eps foxed else a VG+ copy in protected matching dustwrapper (no chips, tears, or loss, but tanned inside). Copy No.110 of 1000. Signed by Author, 13.11.1970. This edition is the first and best, the later paperback does not cover the early years in anything like as much detail. The regimental history covers the Frontier Wars of the Eastern Cape that raged from 1835 to 1853, the Langeberg campaign of 1897 in Bechuanaland, and includes service through World War II. The regiment is housed in Grahamstown, being the successor to the original Graham's Town Volunteers. List of Southern Rhodesian personnel attached (in WW2), Roll of Honour. Included in the book is the original receipt attached to a First City letterhead, and also a card invitation to a 'Special Mess' held on Friday 13th November 1970 to mark the publication of this book.

Postage
Prices quoted exclude p&p and forex charges which will quoted for each order. For local customers books will be sent by Pudo locker-to-locker. Overseas postings will be by Economy Courier.
Descriptions
Books are described in good faith in accordance with usual trade definitions and all major defects noted. Minor inscriptions & marks, etc. may be ignored unless book is VG or better.
Payments

Returns
Each purchase can be returned to the seller within 7 days after reception, without explanation (an e-mail to notify the seller would be appreciated however), after which the billed amount (excluding postage costs) will be restituted to the buyer. If the buyer returns the goods to the seller because the description of the books does not conform to the actual condition of the goods then the billed amount including the postage costs will be restituted to the buyer. Returned goods should be received by the seller in the same condition as when sent to the buyer. The risk of returning goods is for the account of the sender, they should be sent by courier as the South African Post Office no longer offers a viable commercial service and we are unlikely to receive such parcels.
