This is a Good Copy of this Book in beige cloth with black title lettering to the spine.Lacks the origfinal dust-jacket although it's original inner flap is present and has been pasted down onto the front pastedown of the book.The outer boards are showing signs of wear with some splash stain bleaching effects to the spine and a little light fraying to cloth at head of spine,although binding to book remains firm with no hinge weakness. This is a real collector's item in that on the ffep is states that this is I quote '' Author's Copy Published March 2nd 1933 '' Scarce with this association element.The term '' Nobbling '' refers to interference with horses that are likely to win and the Nobblers will stick to nothing to gain their ends,sometimes brutally maiming their victims.A rare early novel by Blakeborough and RARE with this Author's own copy status,8vo 175pp plus 8 pages of publisher ads at back of book.First Edition 1st Impression Size: 8vo - over 5¾" - 7¾" Tall.
