A fascinating account published years before its time. Ordish describes his ownership of Bartons End, a seventeenth-century Kentish farmhouse, and his symbiotic relationships with the numerous and varied living creatures with whom he shares it. Today it must be seen as a proto-conservation landmark. SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
