Exceptionally large and bold "Preston Sawyer / In remembrance, / Sophie Braslau" in black fountain pen on a pristine pale blue 6" X 3 3/4" autograph album leaf, n.p. n.y. Near fine. A handsome example of this uncommon signature; Braslau died at age 43. This signature was acquired by noted collector Preston Sawyer (1899-1968, California journalist and historical writer) in San Francisco in 1930. .
