A member of the Weslyan Methodist Society, Threlfall arrived in the Cape in 1822. He served for a year under the Rev. William Shaw in the Albany District, Eastern Cape before proceeding to Delagoa Bay via Cape Town. Moving to Namaqualand in 1824 he was stationed at Leliefontein. Moving north in 1825 their guides murdered his party thus ending the mission at that point. William Threlfall’s life ended at age twenty-six. He did not leave any organized mission stations, churches, or educational centres which he could claim to have founded, nevertheless the mission station later established at Delagoa Bay bore his name. A memorial was erected on the farm Allgemeine Zeitung, Windhoek, Namibia, on September 14, 1987.

Postage
Prices quoted exclude p&p and forex charges which will quoted for each order. For local customers books will be sent by Pudo locker-to-locker at no charge. Overseas postings will be by Economy Courier.
Descriptions
Books are described in good faith in accordance with usual trade definitions and all major defects noted. Minor inscriptions & marks, etc. may be ignored unless book is VG or better.
Payments
Local customers to make an electronic transfer (EFT).
Overseas customers will be sent a PayPal invoice.

Returns
Each purchase can be returned to the seller within 7 days after reception, without explanation (an e-mail to notify the seller would be appreciated however), after which the billed amount (excluding postage costs) will be restituted to the buyer. If the buyer returns the goods to the seller because the description of the books does not conform to the actual condition of the goods then the billed amount including the postage costs will be restituted to the buyer. Returned goods should be received by the seller in the same condition as when sent to the buyer. The risk of returning goods is for the account of the sender, they should be sent by courier as the South African Post Office no longer offers a viable commercial service and we are unlikely to receive such parcels.
