This is a Good only Copy of this book in publisher's original green cloth with black title lettering to both spine and upper cover with further gilt blocked adornments to the upper cover of nursery rhyme characters.A previous bookplate has been removed from the ffep.All page edges are in gilt with wear and rubbing to extremities of the boards around spine tips corners etc.Repair made to boards where they had partially come away from the spine.Illustrated with 16 full-page engravings.Some cracking to rear hinge.However despite it's imperfections this remains scarce and early children's title 8vo 248pp First Edition.
