Four color plates, two folding maps (one of the seats of the Papuan Race in the Indian Archipelago; the other of New Guinea), one folding plate with illustrations of the different typologies of heads of Papuans and North Australians, two tables, one of which lists specimens of Papuan and North Australian dialects, and two in-text illustrations. Internally very clean with a few small spots to four of the leaves, very mild foxing to the verso of the plates and to the folding plate. A near fine copy. ; Octavo. .
