Boards edgeworn and lightly soiled; inner hinges cracked, although covers remain attached. Faint water stains to margins; pages are not wrinkled and the text is not obscured. Undated; circa 1850s. A Catholic priest lists various Protestant misunderstandings about Catholics, then responds to each one. The author was a convert from the Presbyterian to the Catholic Church, and hoped to use courteous reasoning to soothe the fury disagreement between Catholics and Protestants. Fair .
