Described by the Gestapo as the White Mouse, Nance Wake was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia with her parents as a baby. Nancy left Australia in her early twenties and settled in Paris where she worked as a freelance journalist. This autobiography describes Nancy's work during WW11 as a secret agent in France helping with resistance work and facilitating allied soldiers escape from France to neutral Spain. Book in good condition with minor marks on compressed page edges and inner back boards. Slight colour loss to upper edge of boards and slight marks on inner side of dust jacket. Good/Good.
