This Englis language reprint of the French cartoonist's work was considered inappropriate to the ethos of Penguin Books so that the then owner Allen Lane personally supervised the destruction of all copies remaining in the warehouse after the first few orders had been shipped. This is one of the few remaining copies in existence.
