Pagination as follows: Volume one pages: (vi), vii-xxi, 1-635, (1); Volume two pages: (4), v-xxxii, (198), has more than two hundred black and white images. A two-volume set. Volume one has the text and volume two has the illustrations. VG: Exlibrary books with ownership plates glued to the front pasted end page, and cardpockets glued to the back pasted end page. Dewey decimals written in white on the spine. There is an ownership stamp on the title pages. There are a few light pencil marks on the title pages and front free end pages. These books are in excellent condition, with neat pages and tight binding.
