Amsterdam, chez Abraham Wolfgang, 1685, small octavo (14 x 8 cm), contemporary full leather binding, four-ribs spine with titles on label and gilt decorations, pp. (8)-552-(4) - actually 548, due to a numbering error, but the text is complete -, beautiful copper-engraved allegorical frontispiece, woodcut printer's device on the title page, 20 copperplate engravings of cities, some double-page and folding + a large, stunning copperplate view of Amsterdam (folded multiple times between pp. 100 and 101), seen from a sea crowded with sailing ships, not mentioned in the index. Binding rather worn, with traces of ancient restoration at the lower spine-end; peeling and small tears on the hinges; worn corners; traces of humidity at the endpapers and last four pages; a few slightly browned pages. Overall a good copy, complete in text and illustrations (22 in total, including the frontispiece). =========== Amsterdam, chez Abraham Wolfgang, 1685, in-8° piccolo (cm. 14 x 8) legatura coeva piena pelle, dorso a quattro nervi, con tassello, fregi e titoli in oro, pp. (8)-552-(4) - in realtà 548 per un errore di numerazione, ma testo completo -, bella antiporta allegorica incisa in rame, marca tipografica in xilografia al frontespizio, 20 carte di città incise in rame, anche a doppia pagina e ripiegate + una grande, stupenda veduta calcografica di Amsterdam (più volte ripiegata tra le pp. 100 e 101), vista da un mare ingombro di velieri, non menzionata nell'indice. Legatura piuttosto usurata, con tracce di antico restauro alla cuffia inferiore; spellature e piccoli strappi alle cerniere; angoli consunti; tracce di umidità ai fogli di guardia e alle ultime quattro carte; carta normalmente ingiallita, con rare carte brunite. Nel complesso un esemplare discreto, ma completo nel testo e nelle illustrazioni, 22 in totale compresa l'antiporta.
