[20], 512 pages; 513-1132, [27]; [12], 360, [12] pages. 2 folding maps showing Greenland, Davis Strait, Iceland and parts of Baffin Island; the other maps shows part of the west coast of greenland; the 6 plates show Greenlanders, clothing, housing, harpoons, kayaks, hunting scenes, and the missionary settlements of Neu-Herrnhuth and Lichtenfels. In uniform contemporary binding, green papered boards, boards are rubbed, some corners bumped, binding tight. This set has old stamps from various Moravian libraries: 'Herrnhuter Missionsbücherei', 'Missionsschule Niesky', 'Bibel- und Missionsschule Herrnhut - Bücherei'. The most comprehensive book on Greenland published in the 18th century. Good.
