Covers stained (most heavily on back cover of volume 2) and binding slightly cockeyed, but still tight. The tops of the spines are quite worn. Old library markings inside and torn stickers on spines. Foxing and occasional blotchy stains inside. Text is otherwise unmarked. Travel memoir of a Presbyterian missionary from Massachusetts, complete in two volumes. This copy of the set comes from the library of Rev. John B. Purcell, Archbishop of Cincinnati (1800-1883). His pencil signature is on both volumes' title pages. Fair .
