Edges of cover faded and child's ownership marks on endpapers. Scattered small stains and creases inside. Binding a bit shaken but secure for normal handling. The jacket is lightly edgeworn and starting to split along the front flap fold. Spine ends reinforced with tape on the reverse side. This is an unauthorized American edition that was released after the original British publisher failed to obtain a U.S. copyright on Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit character. Illustrated with color plates. Measures approx. 5.7" x 4.3.
