Wellington, New Zealand, Whitcombe & Tombs. 1904, First Edition. Hard Cover, 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. The Author was born in Tasmania, he worked in Colonial Treasurer's Department, Wellington New Zealand. His second collection by this educator and lawyer, has the name Fred A de la Mare December 1904 (who also worked with in the same office) to ffep. Poems are mostly New Zealand subjects although some are set in Australia. CONDITION Green leather patterned cloth with bright gilt title, wear to spine ends and tips, not dated [1904 NZNB C785] notation in black ink [1905] at bottom of title page, 112 pages have untrimmed edges. Mostly bright and crisp copy with light spotting at ends and edges. Very Good/No Jacket.
