Contemporary half calf, spine with five raised bands, with title label and gilt decorations, worn and joints cracked. Bookplate on front paste down. First edition of this English-Swedish dictionary including accentuation and pronounciation. Brisman based his work on dictionaries and grammars by Samuel Johnson, William Pardon, Boyer, Peyton, etc. Cf. Vater p. 344 (second edition 1806).
