Commerce, TX: circa 1990s. Original color silkscreen. 12 x 18 inches. One of 45 signed, numbered and titled impressions. Stain on corner of lower right margin. Thomas Seawell was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1936 and currently lives in Commerce, Texas. He works in sculpture and in serigraph. His prints are complex overlays of colors and glazes. Seawell's work is in many public collections and he is a member of Boston printmakers, SAGA (Society of American Graphic Artists), Philadelphia Water Color Society, and Texas Sculpture Association. He has been published in Hand Formed Ceramics by Richard Zankin, 1995, and Printmaking: A Primary Form of Expression by Eldon C. Cunningman, 1992. Provenance, Suzy Locke. .
