Longman Brown Green and Longmans,, 1843. 12mo., Sixth Edition, endpapers mildly browned, neat contemporary signature on front paste-down and small sketch on rear paste-down; original dark green ribbed cloth elaborately blocked and lettered in blind; sprinkled edges, a very good, firm, clean copy. With 2pp publisher's catalogue at end. Hornsey's well-known exercises were first published in 1818 and several times reissued. BLPC gives only the fifth edition of 1839. Very scarce in any edition.
