The first set titled "Kamui no Mori" comprises postcards illustrated with animals and fish and the second set titled "Kotan no Kaze" contains cards depicting Ainu people engaged in various activities. A few small marks to envelopes, the postcards in perfect condition.Keizaburo Tejima, born in Hokkaido in 1935, is a recognised Japanese author and illustrator of children's books. He uses a special tinted wood block technique with strong and bold lines. Tejima's works illustrate the traditional life of Hokkaido with people and wildlife in their natural setting.
