(1798), in-folio, (first song); 4 pp ( two printed) ; (second song); 4 pp. Romance, Paroles de Mr.***, musique de Madame la Comtesse de Lannoy née Comtesse de Looz, andante pour piano-forte ou harpe; ''Plaisir d'aimer, besoin d'une âme...''; three couplets on two pp. of engraved -er un coeur sensible et tendre Zul-mé l'a-mour vous remit son pouvoir....''; four couplets on 4 pp of engraved music. Loose as issued. The countess was born in Grez (Brabant) and lost all her property during the French Revolution. She fled to Berlin where she earned a living as a pianist. In 1798 these two songs were published. Afterwards according to Fétis she also lived in Paris. It is quite uncommon to find 18th-century printed music of a woman composer. These romances are rare; not in Schnapper. .
