Covers w multiple giltruled and dotted lines. Inside dentelles. Fine contemp. blue green handmarbled endp. (All edges gilt). (Some annots. dated 1823 in ink on verso free endp. & ownership annots. [by the Chevalier C.G.M. de Bizemont on recto first blank). (paper ticket on upper paste down w. 1 line of type 'le comte Gaspard de Bizemont'). Lovely early 19th c. printed book of hours. The binding is unsigned but undoubtedly by a skilled workshop adhering closely to the the tradition of these well bound and luxuriously gilttooled prayer books. The text in ink on the verso of the handmarbled endp. on the election of Leon XII and the conclave of 1823 and the 17 lines of handwritten dedication by Bizemont on the recto of the first blank, identify the recipient of this prayer book as Charles Guillaume Marie de Bizemont, Chevalier des Ordres Royeux et Militaires de St. Louis... reçu au chateau de Menou...[?] ... chez madame Augustine de Damas, ... [Prioress] de couvent des dames de la visitation de Moulin...'

Roestvlekjes, verzuring, waterschade, scheurtjes, stempels, defecten aan band en papier worden in de regel allemaal vermeld. Voorwaarden bij de verkoop volgens de richtlijnen opgesteld door NVvA en ILAB. Prijzen excl. btw [Nederland en Europa] en porto, behoudens houders van een BTW registratie nummmer. Porto tegen kostprijs. Normaalgesproken levering met factuur in het geval van bekende relaties, veelal wordt gevraagd de factuur bij vooruitbetaling te voldoen. Oudere stukken worden aangetekend en verzekerd verstuurd. Koeriersdiensten Fedex, DHL etc. mogelijk op verzoek, kosten voor de kopende partij. Boeken etc. blijven onvervreemdbaar eigendom van B.M.Israel BV antiquariaat totdat volledige betaling heeft plaatsgevonden. Retourzendingen en teruggave recht: binnen 14 dagen wanneer het artikel niet voldoet aan de verwachting of afwijkt van de beschrijving. Graag in dit geval uw bericht omtrent terugzending. Kosten voor en risico van terugzending en verzekering voor de kopende partij. Retourgezonden materiaal dient ons te bereiken in dezelfde staat als die waarin ze werd verzonden.
