All missing between front cover and frontis, frontis together with protective leaf and title-page are detached. Gatherings between pages 272 and 321 and pages 543-548 are detached. All between last page of text and rear cover is missing. Light foxing to title-page and its protective tissue leaf, clean pages with light foxing associated with plates. Black and white frontis and also a vignette illustration on the title-page. Illustration listed at page 198 is the frontis. Previous owner's name in ink at the front.
