Red blind-printed covers with gilt lettering and decoration are darkened and marked with splits in cloth on front and rear hinges and wear at spine-ends, corners are worn, binding is shaken with split between frontis and title-page and significant separation between gathers, pages are a little darkened with occasional smudge marks and freckles, previous owner's name and date of 1850 on front end-paper.
