. Folio. Pp. (12). Consisting of a title, a three-page dedication by Marcel, one page "Insigne typici musaei attributum", and an "Ode Arabe". Text in French and Arabic, printed within woodcut decorated border. Contemporary boards, worn, spine chipped. Old Arabic inscription on front cover. Old ink ownership inscriptions on front paste down: "ex libris D' Marcel" and "Belin 1831".A typographic "Tour de force". According to Schnurrer, the author is Michael Sabbagh. Jean Joseph Marcel was in charge of the Imprimerie Nationale at the time and the director of the production of an "Oratio Dominica" including many exotic types cut by himself. Schnurrer, Bibl.
