General scuffing, particularly to corners, bookplate to ffep, heavily foxed throughout, missing the engraving that is supposed to be on p. 279, "La Biche de Sertorius", but contains an extra plate on p. 363, "Les Oies du Capitole"; over all, binding tight, in very good condition. .
