NO AUTHOR - VOGUE'S BOOK OF BEAUTY

NY, Conde Nast/Vogue, 1933. 1933. Hardcover with dust jacket. Hardback, tall octavo, appx 7 1/8 x 9 7/8 inches, 86 pages, VG+ in G+ dj (dj in protective mylar). Book nearly perfect with only blem being quarter-sized thinned area carefully scraped at top corner of ffep to remove grease pencil marking. DJ is clean with good color and nice surfaces - a predominantly brick red background (spine brick red with no type). Though faults minimized by mylar, DJ does have rubbing along fore-edge folds, some pulling & tears at or near spine-ends (a little worse than minor) + the only major imperfection of shallow strip torn away from along the top edge of front panel (about 3 inches long, running from 1/8th inch deep at one end of the tear to 1/2 inch at the other end, and just tearing slightly into and across the top of a 5-inch circular b&w photo). Interior full of b&w drawings, stylish cartoon illustrations & photos. Very Good/Good.
