Oltre al Tractatus historico-canonicus il volume comprende altri cinque trattati di diritto ecclesiastico. In sé i trattati sono completi (in lingua latina), ma costituiscono il secondo volume della raccolta di studi del van Espen. Al volume MANCA TOTALMENTE LA LEGATURA (peraltro il dorso è compatto), la pagina di titolo è sporca, strappo marginale, mancano le pagine bianche a inizio e fine tomo (il testo è invece integro). Per questi evidenti difetti e mancanze il tomo viene venduto come VOLUME DI STUDIO.
